The fan, Byron Kennedy, spoke to NFL Network on Monday and said that he thought it would be a cool experience to play golf with Brady instead of getting paid for the football. Brady did say after the game that he planned to do something nice for the fan who gave up the football.

But honestly, they should make the golf game happen. Auctioneers estimated that the football would have been worth $500,000 on the open market.

Chicago Bears on Sunday when he became part of history. The 29-year-old Buccaneers fan was recording Tom Brady’shistoric 600th touchdown pass when Mike Evans — whose jersey was being worn by Kennedy — surprised Kennedy by giving him the ball.

According to CBS Sports lead field reporter Tracy Wolfson, Kennedy gave the ball back in exchange for at least another game ball as well as a signed jersey.
On Monday, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reported that Kennedy will receive two signed jerseys and a helmet from Brady, a signed Evans jersey and his game cleats, a $1,000 credit at the Buccaneers’ team store, and two season passes for the remainder of this season as well as next season.

Postgame, Kennedy said that he was hesitant to give up the ball, which is estimated to be worth upwards of $500,000, according to Ken Goldin, the founder of Goldin Auctions.

That all might not seem like the most he could get but here’s the thing – it’s easy to look back at this situation and say that you would have held onto that ball until Brady agreed to pay you like $500K (a price some auctioneers have said it would be worth) for it and until that money landed in your Venmo you’d keep that ball in your living room.

I was one of those people yesterday, telling my friends I’d want $600K for the 600th TD ball.

This morning, though, I’ve had some time to think about it and in reality this Kennedy fella did the best he could given the situation, which must have been a pretty surreal one for a guy who was invited to the game that morning and is a huge Bucs fan.

Put yourself in Kennedy’s shoes – you’re sitting front row at a game when suddenly your favorite wide receiver (he was wearing a Mike Evans jersey) hands you a ball after scoring a TD.

Ken Goldin, the founder of Goldin Auctions, estimated on Twitter that the ball is worth at minimum $500,000.

“After catching @TomBrady’s 600th career touchdown, @MikeEvans13_ accidentally gave the ball to a fan,” Goldin tweeted.

“Given how historic this ball is as the first 600th TD in NFL history, I’d estimate this ball to be worth a minimum of $500,000 (and possibly much more).”

Brady said the fan would “get something nice in return” for giving back the ball. According to the team, that haul includes two signed Brady jerseys, a helmet, a jersey autographed by Evans and Evans’ game-worn cleats.

The team is also providing Kennedy with two season tickets for the remainder of the 2021 season and all of the 2022 season, plus a $1,000 credit to the team store. Brady told Peyton and Eli Manning on ESPN’s Monday Night Football simulcast that he would give Kennedy a Bitcoin, which is currently valued at $60,922.

“I got the ball back,” Brady told the Mannings.

Goldin said the ball’s worth could “easily” go for $900,000 when comparing it to how much 500 home run baseballs fetch on the open market. Given Brady is the only person to throw 600 touchdowns, whereas there are 28 members of the 500 home run club in the universe, that puts Brady’s ball in a stratosphere all to itself.

Brady, who had the ball in his possession during his postgame press conference, said that Kennedy was “going to get something nice in return, so we’ll get him a helmet or a couple of jerseys or some other stuff.
It was really cool of him to do that.” As stated above, that is indeed what happened.

Kennedy, despite relinquishing a half-million dollar football, is happy that the ball is back in the possession of its rightful owner. He also was able to take several photos of himself with the record-setting ball before giving it back to the Buccaneers.

The team has already committed to giving him two signed jerseys and a signed helmet from Brady, a signed Mike Evans jersey as well as the wide receiver’s game cleats, plus a $1,000 credit to the Buccaneers store and season tickets for the remainder of 2021 and all of 2022.

Speaking of finances, Brady also joked on the Manning brothers’ broadcast that Clyde Christensen, his quarterbacks coach, should not be a model for his TB12 fitness program, as Peyton suggested.

“Are you trying to short the TB12 stock here?” Brady said, holding back laughter. “This isn’t right. I need Clyde to eat non-packaged foods. Too much of what he eats actually comes in a wrapper and you gotta tear it apart.

I say, ‘Clyde, just because it’s popcorn doesn’t mean it doesn’t have calories. You can’t eat eight popcorns in one sitting.

What did tom brady give for 600th td ball

At first you don’t know the significance of the ball – heck, even Evans didn’t know the significance of the ball! – and you’re just stunned that you got a ball. I’m sure the team probably made an announcement about it being the 600th TD pass of Brady’s career but when you’re there, inside the stadium, things are moving quickly for you and you might not understand what was really placed in your hands.

Moments after that some guy from the team is telling you the Tom Brady really wants that ball back and you’ve never been in this situation and don’t really know what to do so you, after saying no a few times (as Kennedy did), end up handing the ball over so the Tom Brady can have it.

Your head has to be spinning at that point because stuff like this just doesn’t happen to random fans all the time.

I get it, I do.

What did guy get for tom brady 600 td ball

NFL history was made on Sunday when Tom Brady became the first quarterback to pass for 600 career touchdowns, but the real story is came after.

Not realizing the significance of the football he had caught in the first quarter for a touchdown, Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans gave the ball away to a fan and the team had to negotiate with them to get it back. Said fan, Byron Kennedy, did give the football back to the team but did ask for a reasonable request of one round of golf with Brady as recompense.

While Kennedy won’t be receiving a round of golf, he is getting quite the haul with signed jerseys, credit to the Buccaneers team store, and even season tickets for this year and next.

Bears. He became the first quarterback ever to throw 600 touchdown passes.

The historic moment came late in the first quarter when he rifled in a nine-yard pass to Mike Evans. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver made the catch to give his team a 21-0 advantage and Brady another huge resume boost.

However, Evans nearly tarnished the important accomplishment by giving the ball that Brady threw to him to a fan in the stands at Raymond James Stadium.

Buccaneers staff was forced to go over to the fan and ask for the ball back.

Thankfully, that patron complied, but he probably will regret the decision after learning how much that football was worth.
